ICAI confirms no upper age limit for CA exams
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) does not impose an upper age limit for candidates wishing to become Chartered Accountants. Individuals can enroll in the CA course at any stage of life, whether they are 18, 35, or 50 years old.
While there is no maximum age restriction, candidates must meet specific educational requirements to begin the process. Students typically enter through the CA Foundation route after completing the 12th grade. Alternatively, graduates can utilize a direct entry route: commerce graduates require a minimum of 55% marks, while non-commerce graduates require at least 60% to enroll in the CA Intermediate level.
