ICAI extends MEF 2026-27 submission deadline to September 9

ICAI ICSI compliance scheme empanelment form statutory filings

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has extended the submission deadline for the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for the 2026-27 period. Members now have until 9th September 2026 to complete their online submissions.

The extension, announced by the Professional Development Committee (PDC), is intended to provide members with sufficient time to file. The ICAI noted that no further extensions will be granted, as the PDC must submit the Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) within the required timeframe.
