ICAI urges accountants to shape India's Viksit Bharat 2047 and opens one‑time virtual training for pending members

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) President CA Prasanna Kumar D called on chartered accountants to play a central role in India's drive toward a developed nation by 2047, emphasizing their responsibility for stronger governance, transparency and economic growth.

ICAI also announced a one‑time opportunity for candidates who passed the CA Final exam before the new education scheme (effective July 2023) but have not completed the mandatory Advanced Information Technology Training (Adv. ITT) or Management & Communication Skills (MCS) course. Eligible candidates can fulfil these requirements through the ICAI Digital Learning Hub, with registration open from 1 August 2026 to 30 June 2027, enabling them to apply for ICAI membership.
