ICAM engages in European legal forums and Spanish professional initiatives

The Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM) is actively participating in several professional and legal initiatives. In Paris, Teresa Mínguez, ICAM Deputy for International Affairs and Vice President of the European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA), inaugurated the General Counsel Forum Europe 2026. The forum brings together over 300 professionals from more than 30 countries to discuss legal, regulatory, and geopolitical challenges facing European companies.

In Spain, ICAM is supporting the XI International Congress of Transparency and Open Government in Santiago de Compostela. ICAM Dean Eugenio Ribón emphasized the legal profession's role in bridging the gap between regulations and compliance, highlighting the importance of transparency and the right to information for democratic quality.

Additionally, Eugenio Ribón, acting as President of the Unión Interprofesional de la Comunidad de Madrid (UICM), inaugurated the tenth edition of the Day of Professions at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The event aims to provide vocational guidance to thousands of students through workshops and direct contact with various professional sectors.
