ICAR announces recruitment for research institute positions

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has announced recruitment drives for two specialized positions through walk-in interviews.

The ICAR Central Tuber Crops Research Institute is seeking one Skilled Assistant. Eligible candidates must be between 18 and 50 years old and hold a Diploma, +2 Vocational qualification, or a Graduate degree in Science. The position offers a monthly salary of Rs. 17,000, with a walk-in interview scheduled for 31 August 2026.

Separately, the ICAR Central Rice Research Institute is recruiting one Young Professional I. Applicants must be aged 21 to 45 and possess a Graduate degree in Agriculture, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Botany, or Zoology. This contractual role offers Rs. 30,000 per month, with a written-cum-personal interview set for 17 August 2026.
