ICAR Launches Young Professional Recruitment for Agricultural Institutes in India
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has opened a contractual Young Professional‑II position at the Indian Institute of Spices Research (IISR) in Kozhikode, Kerala. The role, under the Centre for Agricultural Bioinformatics, offers a monthly salary of ₹42,000 and requires a postgraduate degree in Biotechnology with at least two years of relevant experience. Candidates must be aged 21‑45, with age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC and persons with disabilities.
ICAR also announced recruitment for three posts at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI): Young Professional‑II (₹42,000 per month), Young Professional‑I (₹30,000) and Field Assistant (₹20,000). Eligibility includes a Master’s in Agronomy for YP‑II, a B.Sc. in Agriculture for YP‑I, and a 10th‑grade pass for the Field Assistant role. Applications are accepted online until 30 June 2026, with standard age‑relaxation provisions.
