Icaraí Beach to host Esporte é Show sports event in September

The Esporte é Show event will take place over two weekends in September at Icaraí Beach in Niterói. Scheduled for September 12-13 and 19-20, the event will run from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the area between Presidente Backer and Lopes Trovão streets.

Activities include beach volleyball, futevôlei, and yoga classes held on Sundays in partnership with the Niterói em Equilíbrio project. The event aims to combine sports, tourism, and leisure, featuring DJs, announcers, local exhibitors, food areas, and various public activities.

Organized by the Instituto Faça a Sua Parte (Faspar) in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and supported by the Niterói City Hall, the initiative seeks to encourage sports practice and stimulate the local economy, including the hotel and gastronomic sectors. While entry to the arena is free, participation in specific sports competitions may require separate registration.
