ICBC Turkey Bank to shut five branches and merge three locations
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) announced that its Turkish subsidiary, ICBC Turkey Bank, will cease operations at five branches and integrate three others into existing outlets. The restructuring aims to boost operational efficiency and streamline the branch network.
Following the move, the bank’s Turkish presence will be reduced to eleven branches, with remaining locations including Adana, Altunizade, Ankara, Antalya, Bakırköy, Bursa, İzmir, Kozyatağı, Maslak, Söğütözü and Taksim. ICBC, founded in 1984, is one of the world’s largest banking groups, listed on the Hong Kong and Shanghai stock exchanges and operating in 48 countries across six continents.
