ICBF protects two minors following Riohacha police operation

The Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF) has activated a rights restoration process for two minors in Riohacha. The intervention follows a police operation against Nain Andrés Pérez Toncel, known as ‘Bendito Menor’, who is identified as the leader of the Las Autodefensas Conquistadoras de la Sierra Nevada (ACSN) group.

ICBF Director General Carolina Restrepo Cañavera stated that the entity will provide continuous monitoring and support for the minors. To ensure the protection and privacy of the children, the institution will keep all identifying information confidential.
