ICC announces July 2026 Player of the Month nominees

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominees for the Women’s and Men’s Player of the Month awards for July 2026.

For the Women’s category, the nominees include West Indies all-rounder Hayley Matthews, Sri Lanka batter Harshitha Samarawickrama, and England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt. Matthews recorded 265 runs and seven wickets in ODIs against Ireland, including two centuries. Samarawickrama contributed 173 runs during Sri Lanka’s ODI series win over Pakistan, while Sciver-Brunt provided key performances during England’s progression to the Women’s T20 World Cup final.

In the Men’s category, the nominees are West Indies all-rounder Justin Greaves, England captain Harry Brook, and Bangladesh batter Tanzid Hasan. Greaves excelled in Test cricket, scoring 215 runs and taking eight wickets. Brook was recognized for his explosive T20I batting against India, where he averaged 114.50. Hasan earned his first nomination after leading Bangladesh’s run-scoring in white-ball series against Zimbabwe.
