The first phase of the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE) Cohort 5 Coach Developers Training Programme has concluded in Lusaka, Zambia. The week-long intensive program brought together 13 participants from Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Malawi to strengthen regional coaching systems and develop a sustainable pool of qualified coach developers.
Funded through Olympic Solidarity and supported by the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF), the initiative aims to enhance the capacity of coach developers to support athletes and improve sporting performance. Following the Lusaka phase, participants will move to a second phase in Zimbabwe to consolidate their skills.
