ICE arrests undocumented individuals in Pennsylvania and across the U.S

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has conducted several arrests involving individuals residing in the United States without authorization.

In Pennsylvania, Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe, a Nigerian national, was arrested in East Pennsboro Township following a misdemeanor disorderly-conduct charge. Igbojekwe, whose authorized stay expired in 2019, was reportedly working as a canvasser for Democratic congressional nominee Janelle Stelson at the time of his arrest.

Additionally, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced the arrest of several other undocumented individuals with criminal records. These include Francisco Luperico-Jimenez, convicted of child sexual abuse in California; Juan Carlos Galeana-Flores, convicted of burglary in Idaho; and Samuel Romero-Landestoy, convicted of heroin trafficking in Massachusetts. Other arrests involved individuals convicted of money laundering and drug manufacturing.
