ICE Barcelona 2027 registration opens for global gaming event

Registration has officially opened for ICE Barcelona 2027, scheduled to take place at Fira Barcelona Gran Via from January 18 to 20. The event serves as a global hub for the gaming industry, encompassing sectors such as land-based gaming, digital gambling, lotteries, sports betting, casinos, esports, and payments.

The 2027 edition is expected to host approximately 65,000 attendees from 179 countries and include over 300 regulatory bodies. A significant addition to the event is the introduction of Hall 7, a 17,000-square-metre space dedicated to technology, data, and fintech. This area will host discussions and presentations on enterprise technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and compliance.

Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of WorldGaming, described the event as a central meeting place where the entire gaming value chain meets to determine the industry’s direction. The event’s “Welcome to the PlayVolution” campaign highlights the industry's increasing integration of technology to connect with players while maintaining social responsibility commitments.
