Retailers offer major discounts and issue product recalls

Major retail chains in Poland and Germany are currently running significant promotional campaigns on food and garden equipment. In Poland, Lidl is offering discounts of up to 60% on white grapes and 50% on peaches, alongside deals on bakery items and dairy products. Aldi is providing a 53% discount on raspberry tomatoes and a 90% discount on a second bottle of Italian extra virgin olive oil. Intermarché and Kaufland are also offering up to 50% off tomatoes, though some discounts require loyalty cards or app usage.

In Germany, Lidl has issued a product recall for two types of Martínez Somalo Chorizo BBQ (375g) due to a broken cold chain. The company cannot guarantee product quality through the expiration dates, and customers are advised to return the items to any Lidl store in Germany for a full refund without a receipt.

Additionally, Lidl is promoting garden tools, including electric shredders, lawn robots, and pressure washers, as part of its end-of-month sales.
