Ice Poseidon denied entry to Pokemon Store in Japan

American streamer Ice Poseidon, whose real name is Paul Denino, was denied entry to a Pokemon Store in Japan after security staff identified him using a printed photograph. Video footage shared on social media shows security personnel holding a picture of the streamer to prevent his entry.

Denino expressed confusion during the encounter, questioning why staff were holding his image. Following the initial refusal, the streamer reportedly attempted to bypass security by changing his appearance with a hat and sunglasses. He claimed to have successfully returned to the store shortly after to purchase Pokemon cards without further incident.

This event follows a history of public disturbances involving Denino in Japan, including a 2025 incident where he and his group were prevented from boarding a ferry in Kagoshima.
