Ice rinks in Szczecin and Lublin to expand for new season

New seasonal ice rinks are set to open in Szczecin and Lublin, featuring expanded facilities to accommodate growing popularity.

In Szczecin, the Hit2Fit ice rink will reopen on October 30 at Milczańska 31F. The new layout for the 2026/2027 season includes two interconnected ice surfaces: a main indoor rink of 900 m² and a smaller, covered outdoor rink of 250 m². The smaller area is specifically designed for beginners and children. The facility will operate daily from 9:00 AM and will host Halloween events on October 30 and 31.

In Lublin, the outdoor ice rink at Plac Litewski will return from December 4 until the end of the winter holidays on February 14. Following a successful debut that saw over 25,000 visitors, MOSiR Lublin is introducing changes to manage crowds. These include a second, smaller ice surface for beginners and a timed skating system (45-minute sessions) to increase throughput and safety.
