ICEHOUSE announces Man of Colours 40th anniversary tour
Australian band ICEHOUSE has announced its first headline indoor concert tour in over 20 years to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its landmark 1987 album, ‘Man of Colours’. The tour is scheduled for June and July 2027, featuring six dates across major Australian cities.
The tour will begin at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on 5 June 2027 and conclude at Perth’s RAC Arena on 10 July. Other scheduled stops include the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, TikTok Entertainment Centre in Sydney, Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Frontman Iva Davies noted that the indoor format will allow the band to expand their setlist, as they have never performed several songs from the album live.
‘Man of Colours’ was the band’s fifth studio album and reached number one on the Australian and New Zealand charts, spending 11 weeks at the top in Australia. The album produced several hits, including ‘Electric Blue’ and ‘Crazy’. This announcement follows two upcoming outdoor performances scheduled for September 2024 in Brisbane and Sydney.
