Icelandair launches first regular flights from Gdańsk to Iceland

Icelandair has launched its first regular flight connection in Poland, establishing a route between Gdańsk and Keflavík. The inaugural flight took place on September 18, utilizing a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

The new service will operate three to four times per week, providing passengers from the Pomeranian region with access to North America, including the United States and Canada, via the Keflavík hub. The route also facilitates direct travel between Iceland, North America, and Gdańsk.

Onboard the inaugural flight, the aircraft featured 160 seats, including 144 in economy class and 16 in Saga Premium (business class). While Saga Premium passengers receive multi-course meals and complimentary Wi-Fi, economy passengers are provided with complimentary coffee, tea, and water, though no free snacks are included on this route.
