Icelandair releases keychains featuring Hekla Aurora livery

Icelandair has partnered with Aviationtag to produce a limited edition series of keychains featuring the livery of the Hekla Aurora. The Boeing 757-200, which was decorated with an aurora borealis-themed design using airbrushing techniques, remained in service until October 12 of last year.

Because of the unique mix of blue, green, and black shades used in the design, Aviationtag noted that ‘no two pieces look exactly alike’. Individual keychains are priced starting at €39.95, while collector sets of nine or 14 pieces are available for €409.35 and €634.30, respectively.

To celebrate the release, Icelandair is giving away 10 tags by asking followers on social media to share memories of flying on the aircraft or viewing the Northern Lights in Iceland.
