Icelandic Film ‘The Love That Remains’ Opens in Mexico and Draws Argentine Review

The Icelandic drama ‘The Love That Remains’ (original title Ástin sem eftir er), directed by Hlynur Pálmason, will debut in Mexican theatres on 31 July, distributed by Lool Films. The film, a co‑production of Iceland, Denmark, Sweden and France, premiered in the Cannes Premiere section in 2025 and later screened at the Guadalajara International Film Festival.
