Ichikawa Danjuro shares family photos and prepares for TV appearance

Kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjuro recently shared nostalgic family photographs on Instagram, featuring his late wife, Kobayashi Mao, alongside their two children, Reika (Ichikawa Botan) and Kangen (Ichikawa Shinnosuke). Danjuro noted that the photos were discovered while looking through an old camera.

In a related development, Ichikawa Danjuro and his son, Ichikawa Shinnosuke, are scheduled to appear on the television program ‘Tetsuko no Heya’. During the broadcast, Shinnosuke is expected to discuss his memories of the day his mother, Kobayashi Mao, passed away nine years ago. The appearance will also touch upon family travels to Indonesia and the history of the father and son’s simultaneous name succession.
