Ichikawa Danjuro shares updates on family Kabuki tour

Kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjuro has shared updates regarding his family and his recent traveling performances. On his Instagram, Danjuro recently posted photos of his 13-year-old son, Kangen (Ichikawa Shinnosuke), dressed in a navy suit for promotional work related to a film. The photos drew significant attention from followers noting his maturing appearance.

In a separate blog update, Danjuro reported on the first day of a traveling performance tour in Kanazawa, which he is conducting alongside his daughter, Reika (Ichikawa Botan), and his son. He noted that observing and teaching his children during the performances can be more exhausting than performing himself.

Reflecting on the experience, Danjuro shared an emotional moment from a morning walk in Komatsu. He recalled previous solo trips to the area where he often felt lonely, contrasting those memories with the joy of being able to ride bicycles through the rice fields with his daughter.
