On August 7, 2016 Ichiro Suzuki recorded his 3,000th Major League hit—a triple off Colorado Rockies left‑hander Chris Rusin at Coors Field—joining an exclusive club of 30 players and becoming the seventh player to reach 3,000 hits and 500 steals.
