ICMI Muda North Sumatra inaugurates new leadership

The new leadership of the North Sumatra Regional Board of the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI) Muda has been officially inaugurated for the 2026-2031 period. Ilham Suheri Situmorang was appointed as General Chairman, accompanied by Raden M. Khalid Prabowo as General Secretary and Kahfi Aulia as Treasurer.

During the ceremony held in Medan, North Sumatra Vice Governor Surya urged the new management to move beyond ceremonial duties and deliver tangible contributions to society. He emphasized that the organization should serve as a driver for regional development and a role model for youth in navigating complex global challenges, including artificial intelligence, economic dynamics, and technological shifts.

Chairman Ilham Suheri Situmorang stated that one of the organization's primary focuses will be the fight against drug abuse, which remains a serious issue affecting the younger generation in the region. The leadership aims to foster collaboration between academics, the government, and the business sector to promote education, social development, and human resource growth.
