ICMR‑NIHR announces 2026 walk‑in recruitment for research scientists in Jodhpur
The Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute of Health Research (ICMR‑NIHR) issued an official notice inviting applications for project human‑resource positions under the ADOPT programme in Jodhpur. The vacancies include one Project Research Scientist‑III (non‑medical), two Project Research Scientist‑II (non‑medical), one Administrative Officer and one Field Officer. Candidates will be selected through a walk‑in interview, written examination, skill test, document verification and a final merit list. Salary ranges from ₹30,000 to ₹78,000 per month, with additional benefits. The walk‑in interview and written test are scheduled for 24 August at the ICMR‑NIHR office in Jodhpur, with reporting time between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. Registration will be completed on the same day; applicants must bring a hard‑copy of the application and original documents with photocopies. Age limits are 35‑50 years, with relaxations for reserved categories. Required qualifications include a PhD with five years post‑doctoral experience for the Scientist‑III role, an MSc with four years experience for Scientist‑II, a bachelor’s degree with three years experience and MS‑Office skills for the Administrative Officer, and a graduate degree in public health with three years experience for the Field Officer. The appointment is initially for one year, subject to renewal as per regulations.
