Icon Plc sees increased institutional holdings and insider stock sales
Icon Plc has seen significant activity regarding its stock holdings from both institutional investors and company leadership. Trinity Street Asset Management LLP increased its position in the medical research company by 27.1% during the second quarter, bringing its total holdings to 1,535,462 shares valued at approximately $266.7 million.
Simultaneously, several Icon executives and directors conducted stock sales in August. CEO Barry Edward Balfe sold 382 shares to cover tax-withholding obligations related to vested equity awards. Directors Ciaran Murray and Ronan Martin Murphy also sold shares, with their transactions also cited as being for tax-withholding purposes. Murray sold 2,677 shares, while Murphy sold 841 shares.
