Icons Series announces $10M Swing golf event in South Africa

The Icons Series has announced the $10M Swing, a high-stakes golf event scheduled for December 9, 2026, at the Fancourt estate in South Africa. Taking place on the 17th hole of the Montagu Course, the event features 40 participants, including 28 sporting icons and 12 wildcards, competing for the largest single-shot jackpot in golf history.

A hole-in-one from a distance of at least 165 yards over a water hazard will trigger a $10,000,000 prize. This jackpot is set to be split three ways: one-third to the successful player, one-third to official charity partners, and one-third to a fan.

Team South Africa will be led by Ernie Els and includes athletes such as Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers, and Schalk Burger. Team World will be captained by José María Olazábal and features stars including Brian Lara, Ash Barty, Sir James Anderson, and John Terry. The event serves as a standalone curtain-raiser for the Icons Cup South Africa.
