ICTSI and Eurogate expand port infrastructure through new crane acquisitions
International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) has expanded its fleet at the Contecon Manzanillo terminal in Mexico by adding two new ship-to-shore cranes. This addition brings the total fleet at the facility to 14 cranes, supporting the fourth phase of the terminal's expansion.
In Germany, Eurogate Terminal Solutions GmbH has ordered four Automated Stacking Cranes (ASCs) from Konecranes for the Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven. The order, booked in the third quarter of 2026, is scheduled for handover in the second quarter of 2028. The agreement includes an option for four additional cranes for Eurogate’s Container Terminal Hamburg as part of a broader strategy to advance terminal automation and integrate equipment with existing control systems.
