The Dominican Civil Aviation Institute (IDAC) held a ceremony at Plaza de Querétaro to commemorate the 216th anniversary of Mexico's independence. Separately, Dominican residents in New York are calling on the Central Electoral Board (JCE) to prevent the potential seizure and auction of its offices in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Brooklyn. The legal dispute stems from a contract with artist Félix Cabrera regarding advertising and logistics for the Caribbean Series. While the JCE acknowledges a payment of $230,000, it disputes a claim for an additional $600,000. Critics warn the impasse could disrupt identity services for citizens and impact the 2028 electoral process.

In Mao, Vice President Raquel Peña inspected the construction of the Luis L. Bogaert Traumatological Hospital. The project, which is 35% complete with a total investment of RD 911 million, is expected to be delivered by President Luis Abinader in the second quarter of 2027 to strengthen the national emergency medical network.
