IDACORP gains institutional stakes as analysts tweak ratings

Institutional investor Entropy Technologies LP boosted its position in IDACORP, Inc. to 24,273 shares valued at about $3.47 million, while other firms such as Torren Management, Caitong International Asset Management, Measured Wealth Private Client Group, Los Angeles Capital Management and Smartleaf Asset Management also adjusted their holdings.

Analyst coverage was mixed: BTG Research, Weiss Ratings, Barclays, Mizuho and Morgan Stanley reaffirmed or raised buy or overweight ratings and price targets ranging from $156 to $167. Wall Street Zen, however, moved its rating from a strong sell to a sell. In its latest earnings release, IDACORP posted Q4 EPS of $1.21, beating the $1.12 consensus, with a net margin of 18.6% and revenue of $403.41 million, slightly below forecasts. Executive VP James Bo D. Hanchey sold 1,500 shares at an average price of $140.95.
