Idaho man charged with 10 counts of child sexual exploitation

Casey Scott Haag, 33, of Idaho Falls, faces 10 felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child in Bonneville County. The charges follow an investigation into vandalism and stalking, during which police executed a search warrant on Haag’s home and electronic devices.

Investigators reported discovering a hidden folder on Haag’s iPhone containing approximately 71 images of a 15-year-old girl and a video allegedly depicting sexual intercourse. According to a probable cause affidavit, the victim met Haag online in December 2024 when she was 14. The victim stated they developed an online relationship and met in person four times, during which sexual contact allegedly occurred.

Following the discovery, police coordinated with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office to identify the minor. Haag remains under investigation regarding the possession and access of child sexually exploitative material.
