IDB to host LAC Transport Forum 2026 in Miami

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in partnership with the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), will host the ‘LAC Transport Forum 2026’ in Miami on September 29 and 30. The event aims to connect transport authorities, private sector leaders, and international investors to drive infrastructure development across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Expected participants include IDB Group President Ilan Goldfajn and high-ranking government officials from 16 countries in the region. The forum is designed to foster alliances for sustainable, resilient, and inclusive transport infrastructure. A cooperation agreement with Spain’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is also expected to be signed during the event.
