IDCO approves 37 projects to boost industrial growth in Odisha

The Land Allotment Committee of the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) has approved 37 project proposals to accelerate industrial growth and strengthen the MSME ecosystem in Odisha. Chaired by IDCO Chairperson Usha Padhee, the committee cleared 24 land proposals for major industrial projects and 13 proposals focused on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The approvals aim to facilitate faster project implementation, generate local employment, and bolster regional supply-chain ecosystems. To support these developments, IDCO is intensifying field-level monitoring and inspections of industrial estates and corridors in areas such as Khordha, Cuttack, and Kalinga Nagar. These inspections assess critical infrastructure readiness, including power, water supply, road connectivity, and freight movement, with a specific focus on worker-centric facilities for the growing workforce.
