Identidades del Sur Working Group holds meeting for LGBTIQ+ rights

The Identidades del Sur Working Group held a new meeting in Río Grande to strengthen the promotion and protection of LGBTIQ+ rights. Organized by the Ministry of Citizen Welfare and Justice through the Subsecretariat of Gender and Diversity, the event focused on creating spaces for exchange and participation.

During the session, Dr. Verónica Baroni, a general practitioner and sexologist, led discussions on topics including identity, gender transitions, hormone therapy processes, and sexuality. The initiative aims to build stronger networks between the community and the state to identify needs and develop public policies that address the specific demands of the collective.
