Identity security becomes a priority for Latin American enterprises

Cybersecurity strategies are shifting toward identity protection as attackers increasingly bypass technical vulnerabilities by using stolen or legitimate credentials. In Latin America, companies are prioritizing digital identities as the new security perimeter to combat these risks.

In Brazil, over 60% of companies have increased or plan to increase investments in this area, with Brasscom estimating that cybersecurity investments in the country will exceed R$100 billion by 2028. To meet this demand, One Identity is expanding its partner ecosystem in Brazil through alliances with Cintech and Voxxel to provide solutions such as Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Single Sign-On (SSO) to businesses of all sizes.

Separately, experts from Proofpoint highlight the difficulty of managing multi-domain, multi-stage attacks. A recent report indicates that nine out of ten organizations find managing multiple security tools challenging due to integration issues, operational costs, and the difficulty of correlating threats. This fragmentation often creates blind spots where individual alerts fail to provide a unified view of the entire attack chain.
