Israel eliminates Hamas operatives involved in Shani Louk abduction and tank attack

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of two high-profile Hamas operatives in separate operations. In northern Gaza, an airstrike in Jabalia killed Tamer Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Zabaq (also identified as Tamer Muhammad Ibrahim al-Sabbagh), an operative accused of participating in the abduction and murder of German-Israeli hostage Shani Louk during the October 7, 2023, attacks. The IDF stated that with his death, every member of the Hamas cell filmed abducting Louk is now either dead or in custody.

In a separate operation, Israeli forces eliminated Musa Abd Muhammad Hamouda, a member of Hamas’ elite Nukhba unit in Gaza City. Hamouda was allegedly involved in an explosive device attack that killed four Israeli tank crew soldiers from the 52nd Battalion. The military described Hamouda as a threat who worked to restore Hamas’ military capabilities in violation of ceasefire agreements.

Additionally, the IDF reported the deaths of several other Hamas members in northern Gaza, including a cell commander and operatives involved in weapons manufacturing and engineering battalions, during strikes in the Tuffah and Jabalia areas.
