IDF eliminates Hamas and Islamic Jihad commanders in Gaza strikes
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the elimination of several militants in separate strikes across the Gaza Strip. In the Khan Younis area, the IDF stated it killed Muad Gamal Abu Nuseira, a commander in Hamas’ military wing, and Mahmoud Ibrahim Dib Alyan, an operative in a Hamas observation unit. The IDF identified Alyan as working to restore Hamas capabilities in violation of ceasefire agreements.
In Gaza City, Israeli strikes targeted members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). The IDF reported the deaths of Ahmed Mahmoud Harb Ramlawi, a commander in the Shejaiya Battalion’s rocket array, and Munir Ibrahim Masr, the head of an anti-tank missile cell. The military stated these individuals were involved in efforts to restore PIJ capabilities.
Additionally, Israeli security forces identified the killing of Tamer Hamaida, a Hamas sniper, in Khan Younis. The IDF maintains that its troops remain deployed in accordance with existing agreements and will continue to act against immediate threats.
