IDF eliminates two terrorists linked to Hamas funding

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israel Security Agency (ISA) announced the elimination of two individuals involved in transferring millions of shekels to Hamas’ military wing.

On Wednesday, a strike in Gaza City killed Alaa Ibrahim Nimer Arshi, a commander of a Hamas military wing terrorist cell. On Tuesday, a strike in the Nuseirat area eliminated Karam Riyad Hassan Abu Butaihan, an affiliate of Palestinian Islamic Jihad who facilitated fund transfers to Hamas. Security agencies stated both men were involved in moving millions of shekels from Iran and Turkey to Hamas to rebuild military capabilities and plan attacks.

Additionally, an aerial strike on Thursday destroyed a weapons storage facility in the central Gaza Strip. The facility contained Kalashnikov rifles, launchers, and rockets. Authorities stated that precautions, including advance warnings and precision munitions, were used to minimize civilian casualties.
