IDOPPRIL attends National Occupational Health Congress in Mexico
The Dominican Institute for the Prevention and Protection of Occupational Risks (IDOPPRIL) is attending the 30th National Congress of Occupational Health in Mexico as a special guest. Organized by the National Federation of Occupational Health (FeNaSTAC), the international event focuses on the theme ‘Innovation for resilient and sustainable work environments.’
The IDOPPRIL delegation is led by Executive Director Dr. Agustín Burgos and includes Prevention Director Francis Brito, Regional Director Solsereth Chapman, and occupational physician Scarlet Díaz. The congress serves as a platform for authorities, specialists, and decision-makers to exchange knowledge and strategies regarding occupational health and safety.
Dr. Burgos stated that the participation allows the institute to share experiences and acquire new tools to strengthen prevention and protection strategies for Dominican workers. The four-day event addresses challenges and opportunities presented by innovation in labor health and strategies for building safe, healthy, and dignified work environments.
