Iğdır hosts International Champion Boxing Night
The 7th International Champion Boxing Night was held at the Iğdır Millet Bahçesi, bringing together athletes from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Georgia. The event featured a total of 13 matches.
Organized by Savaş Kaya, the Director of Sports Services for the Iğdır Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and a former national boxer, the evening included cultural performances by Caucasian folklore and folk dance groups. The event was attended by Iğdır Governor M. Fırat Taşolar and other local officials.
Kaya stated that the objective of the tournament is to promote the city of Iğdır and to cultivate successful athletes for the country by engaging children and families in sports.
