Iğdır infrastructure and healthcare see major developments

AK Party Provincial Chairman Ali Kemal Ayaz highlighted significant infrastructure and social developments in Iğdır over the past three years. He noted that coordination with ministries in Ankara, alongside efforts by MP Cantürk Alagöz, has addressed long-standing regional issues.

Key achievements mentioned include the completion of the Ünlendi Dam, progress on the Tuzluca Dam intended to triple local agriculture, and the expansion of healthcare services via a 400-bed state hospital capable of performing angioplasty. These improvements have reportedly reduced the need for patient transfers to other provinces.

Additional investments cited include new schools, libraries, parks, paved village roads, TOKİ housing, and the planning of a bypass road and closed-pipe irrigation systems.
