Ieda Chaves reports R$ 61 million in investments for Rondônia
State Deputy Ieda Chaves (União Brasil) has released a report detailing her parliamentary work in Rondônia, highlighting the application of over R$ 61.4 million in parliamentary amendments. These funds have been distributed across various sectors, including agriculture, social assistance, animal welfare, culture, education, infrastructure, public security, health, and tourism.
In addition to financial investments, Chaves's mandate has resulted in the approval of 18 new state laws. Her legislative focus has centered on four main pillars: the defense of women, inclusion for persons with disabilities, animal protection, and the protection of children and adolescents. Notable legislation includes Law No. 5.578/2023, which mandates the use of the term ‘Pessoa com Deficiência’ (PcD) by private companies and establishments to replace outdated terminology.
