IEEM revamps gender‑equality minisite and expands civic library in Mexico State

The Instituto Electoral del Estado de México (IEEM) unveiled a redesigned online portal for the Comisión de Igualdad de Género y No Discriminación (CIGyND). The new minisite features an updated visual design, interactive timelines, video playlists, a photo gallery, and downloadable educational games and trivia focused on women’s political participation and the prevention of gender‑based political violence.

IEEM also promoted the Biblioteca del Centro de Formación y Documentación Electoral (CFDE), a free public library offering more than 11,000 titles and 27,000 copies in print and electronic formats. The collection includes braille editions, indigenous‑language children’s books, and extensive material on electoral politics, democracy, and civic participation, aiming to foster inclusive civic learning for people of all ages.
