Iemsysem announces new educator roles and scholarship deadlines in Michoacán

The Institute of Higher and Upper Secondary Education of the State (Iemsysem) has announced two major educational initiatives in Michoacán.

First, a call for professionals has been opened to serve as pedagogical and accompaniment guides for the Bachillerato Nacional Margarita Maza (BNMM). The program seeks individuals aged 22 and older with completed bachelor's degrees. Roles include accompaniment guides in fields such as psychology, social work, and sociology, as well as pedagogical guides in areas like communication, mathematics, biology, and the humanities. This expansion aims to increase upper secondary education opportunities across various municipalities, including Morelia, Uruapan, and Apatzingán.

Second, the deadline for the Gertrudis Bocanegra Scholarship for university students is approaching on October 9. This program provides 1,900 pesos every two months to assist with school transportation costs. Part of the Michoacán Plan for Peace and Justice, the scholarship currently supports approximately 56,000 university students to help reduce economic barriers to higher education.
