IES Montes Orientales to represent Spain in Singapore STEM Racing final
The IES Montes Orientales institute, located in the rural area of Iznalloz in Granada, Spain, will represent the country at the global STEM Racing final in Singapore from October 3 to 8. The competition involves the creation of a scale-model Formula 1 racing team.
The project is led by teachers Silvia Cerezo and Tania Sánchez and involves a team of eleven students from Bachillerato and 4th year of ESO. Originally a small group effort, the initiative has grown to involve the entire school faculty. Norberto Ortega Espigares, the director of the institute, emphasized the importance of teamwork and support for the students and teachers involved in the project.
