IESCO announces power shutdowns in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Attock

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled temporary power outages across several regions to facilitate district development projects. These works include road widening, the construction of flyovers and underpasses, and the installation of new 11kV feeders and power infrastructure.

On October 8, 2026, power suspensions were scheduled in Rawalpindi City Circle, affecting feeders such as Millatabad, D. K. Chaudharyan, Peshawar Road, Askari-XI, and COB Lane from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

On October 9, 2026, outages are planned for Islamabad City Circle (Service Road, Sohan, Highway, Zia Masjid, and Iqbal Town feeders) and Rawalpindi City Circle (Fazaia feeder) between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Additionally, the Colonel Sher Khan feeder in the Attock Circle will experience a shutdown from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
