IF Gnistan defeats Ilves 3–2 in rain-affected match

IF Gnistan secured a 3–2 victory against Ilves in a match heavily influenced by heavy rainfall. The game began with Gnistan taking an early lead in the 4th minute through a goal involving new player Ruxi and a deflection off Sauli Väisänen.

Ilves responded in the 14th minute when Teemu Hytönen scored following a cross from Matias Ralle and a touch by Oliver Pettersson. However, Ilves regained the lead in the 41st minute when Anton Popovitch scored after a long-range shot was deflected by goalkeeper Matej Jurikan.

Gnistan equalized before halftime through Adeleke Akinyemi, who scored his eleventh goal of the season from outside the box. The second half saw a turning point when Ilves captain Sauli Väisänen received a second yellow card, leaving his team a man down.
