IFA and AEC sign agreement to boost Futurmoda footwear fair

The Alicante Fair Institution (IFA–Fira Alacant) and the Spanish Association of Footwear Component Companies (AEC) have signed an agreement to strengthen the Futurmoda trade fair. The partnership aims to bolster the event's role as an international platform for business, innovation, and promotion within the footwear and leather goods industries.

Futurmoda holds two annual editions, showcasing specialized components, textiles, chemicals, machinery, and manufacturing solutions. The 55th edition, held in March 2026, featured 236 participating companies and over 4,100 professional visitors, with significant representation from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, China, and France.

The agreement supports the industrial future of the Alicante province, specifically benefiting the business networks in Elche, Elda, Petrer, and Villena by connecting local manufacturers and designers with international suppliers.
