IFAD experts evaluate agricultural projects in Entre Ríos
A delegation from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is conducting field visits in Entre Ríos, Argentina, to evaluate various agricultural projects aimed at improving local producers' livelihoods.
The evaluation includes visits to dairy, vegetable, sheep, and goat farming operations. In the Tala department, discussions are underway regarding the possibility of sheep producers utilizing the slaughter facilities at the El Potrero de Gualeguaychú Penal Unit No. 9 to formalize sales and prevent zoonotic diseases.
In Urdinarrain, officials visited the Cabañeros Unidos group, which comprises 10 sheep producers. The delegation also inspected the horticultural belt in Paraná, the La Agrícola Regional de Crespo cooperative, and projects in the Federal region.
