IFCE launches Hotel-Escola in Guaramiranga for professional training

The Instituto Federal do Ceará (IFCE) has established the Hotel-Escola Guaramiranga at its Guaramiranga Campus, a pioneering initiative within the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific, and Technological Education. The facility serves a dual purpose as a public lodging establishment and a professional laboratory for students.

Students gain hands-on experience in tourism, hospitality, gastronomy, and event management by participating in real-world service stages, including reception, governance, and marketing. The hotel is open to the general public via reservation and offers amenities such as pools, event spaces, and gardens.

Managed through the Qualifique Teaching and Extension Project by the IFCE Support Foundation, the hotel also hosts professional qualification programs, such as the Mulheres Mil program, and pedagogical immersion activities for students from various institutions.
